The card features five championship matches:

Damian Priest vs Drew McIntyre

This is a loaded card and this might be the match I'm looking forward to the most. After Finn Balor lost to McIntyre on Monday Night Raw, the Judgement Day is banned from ringside in the World Heavyweight Championship match. I have a feeling they'll be there anyway and end up costing Priest the match, probably unintentionally. Priest has been a great champion and should be a multiple time world champion. But I think his run ends here. Drew McIntyre wins in Scotland.

Cody Rhodes vs AJ Styles

They last wrestled at Backlash for the Undisputed Championship and had one of the best matches in recent memory. This one could be even better, though it's tough with "I Quit" matches because there's no way Rhodes is going to quit, right? Isn't that his whole thing? It makes sense that he picked an "I Quit" match. But if Styles were to win, they'd have to find a workaround. Perhaps Rhodes quits because the Good Brothers are beating up one of Rhodes' friends? I don't see it, though. I think the storybook ending from Wrestlemania 40 continues. And it should. But Styles deserves credit, because he's been great in this feud. Rhodes retains.

Sam Zayn vs Chad Gable

The Intercontinental Championship match might have the best storyline going into Clash at the Castle. Gable has been so mean to his Alpha Academy teammates, they're due to turn on him. Will they do it in Scotland? I don't think so. Gable has been so good in this feud (as has Zayn and pretty much everyone involved), I think he should win here. This is a coin flip, and Zayn deserves to win because he's been so entertaining, but I'm going with the bad guy. Gable wins the belt.

Bayley vs Piper Niven

Niven delievered a great promo on Smackdown last week, and she's coming home to wrestle for the Women's Championship. She would make a fine champion. Not only is she a rough and tumble throwback, but her tag team with Chelsea Green never fails to entertain. The two of them are perfect together. But Bayley is just getting started as champion, and I don't see her losing here. Bayley retains.

2024 King and Queen of the Ring results: New champion crowned, King, Queen named

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill vs Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark vs Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn

I think the champs retain, but I really hope they start doing something with Shayna Baszler. When she was in NXT, she was a killer. She comes to the main roster and after struggling to do anything of note for a while, she beats Ronda Rousey. Then nothing. Whenever she's given a shot, she delivers. I would be happy with any of these three teams winning, but I don't see the champs losing here. Oh, and great work out of Jade Cargill. She gets better and better every week, and I think Bianca Belair should get credit for that. I think Cargill is a hard worker and a star, but you can't help get better by working with Belair. She's legit. Champs retain.

Will the Wyatt 6 show up?

Every week I think they will. But after last night's Raw, it sounds like it won't be until next week. So I'll say they will not be at Clash at the Castle, but I hope they do. This is exciting because we have no idea what they'll do when they show up. Who will be their target? Will the be good guys? I'm guessing no, but who knows?

No Bloodline?

This is the second premium live event in a row that the Bloodline aren't slated to appear. It's pretty crazy that this is WWE's third PLE since Wrestlemania and the Bloodline has only had one match scheduled. It shows how deep the roster is. It's also a product of only have five matches per show. It's working. I miss the Bloodline, but five-match cards are the way to go. Makes every match seem important.
