Updated Fantasy Football PPR Rankings 2023: Top 200 cheat sheet for fantasy drafts | Sporting News (2024)

The only thing fantasy football owners like more than a great set of preseason rankings is a terrible one. We love making fun of other people’s rankings, whether it’s because our favorite sleepers are too low or potential injury-prone busts are too high. If you put rankings in front of us, we’ll look at them…then mock them. With that in mind, here's our 2023 Top 200 fantasy PPR rankings. Please be gentle.

Look, even we have issues with the rankings below. Why? Well, we know injuries, surprise breakouts, and out-of-nowhere regressions will happen. Opportunity is everything in fantasy football, and sometimes it’s impossible to predict who will be able to take advantage.

So, before you launch into a full-fledged diatribe about why Jahmyr Gibbs should be in the top 25, keep in mind that getting different pre-draft perspectives is important. If we rank a player significantly higher or lower than you do, chances are at least one owner in your league is doing the same. That can impact your draft, for better or worse.

DOMINATE YOUR DRAFT: Ultimate 2023 Fantasy Cheat Sheet

Because PPR leagues are becoming more "standard" than "standard" leagues, most default rankings in your draft app will include either a half-point or full-point PPR component to them. Thus, you might notice QBs and D/STs a bit lower than you expect. Simply put, there are more points available for RBs, WRs, and TEs. Touchdowns are still the most important thing in fantasy football, though, so don’t overlook big-time scorers too much just because they don’t get as many targets.

2023 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Ks | Top 200 | S-Flex | IDP

The differences between our PPR and standard big board start at No. 2. Call us old school, but we’re sticking with Derrick Henry in that spot in standard, but in PPR leagues, we like Austin Ekeler. Henry drops all the way to No. 13 in our PPR rankings, but we wouldn’t be at all surprised if he finished higher. The differences are relatively marginal when it comes to upper-tier players, but they’re still enough to affect the rankings, even in half-PPR formats.

Bigger differences (and, no doubt, disagreements) can be found further down the list. Rookies, players in new situations, and potential breakouts all spark conflict in fantasy circles. Regardless of your opinion on certain players, studying different perspectives will help your overall draft prep and season-long performance.

Injuries, preseason developments, and good old-fashioned buzz will alter the fantasy landscape throughout the preseason, but don’t worry – these Top 200 PPR rankings will be constantly adjusted until the start of Week 1, so check back for updates.
