Both fighters enter the octagon with solid professional records. Poirier has won 30 fights and lost eight (with one no-contest), while Makhachev has won 25 of his 26 professional fights. Co-mains Sean Strickland (United States) and Paulo Costa (Brazil) will also provide an alluring fight with their middleweight competition, and several of the preliminary and early preliminary fights are shaping up to be can't-miss match-ups.

The watch options are pretty straightforward tonight. As usual, you'll need to pay a subscription and a pay-per-view fee to see the main event. While it's always a pricey viewing experience, we've found some potential savings, which we've highlighted below. How to watch UFC 302 in the US

UFC fans know the drill. UFC 302's main event will live stream on Saturday night at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+. If viewers don't already have an ESPN+ subscription, they will need to sign up for one and pay the pay-per-view fee to see the main fights. An ESPN+ subscription costs $10.99 a month, and the PPV fee is an additional $79.99.

We know this is a bit pricey, so we've identified some savings for those who don't already have an ESPN+ subscription. If you're planning to hang onto ESPN+ beyond this month, you can sign up for the service's PPV package, which includes an annual plan with the next UFC PPV event (in this case, tonight's fight) for $134.98. In comparison, annual plans typically cost $109.99 a year, in addition to the standard $79.99 PPV fee, which would run you $189.98. This deal can save you more than $50 in your first year before the service renews at the standard rate. You'll still need to pay future PPV fees for additional UFC fights down the road.

UFC PPV + Annual ESPN+ Membership (Bundle)

ESPN+ is the home of UFC PPV events, meaning that fans need to purchase a subscription in addition to buying the one-off cards. ESPN is offering a bundle for both new subscribers and monthly subscribers to purchase a specific UFC PPV event along with a year-long subscription to the streaming service.

Where to watch UFC 302 everywhere else

UK UFC fans can watch the flights through TNT Sports with a Premium Discovery+ sub for £39.99 a month. Fortunately, most of these events don't require an additional PPV fee in the UK since they're on so late. Canadians hoping to watch UFC fights can buy the PPV fight for $65 through UFC Fight Pass (most major TV services also sell the fight for a PPV fee). If you're not in any of the aforementioned regions, you can still check your local listings to see if you can access the fight since UFC is available in several other countries.

People are also welcome to try using a VPN (virtual private network) to keep up with the fights and their subscription services. VPNs are handy ways to change your device's virtual location so that you can keep up with your usual websites and apps while traveling (plus, they're good ways to increase your online privacy).
