A chaotic week to say the least. Our annual golf trip to Ocean City Maryland was Saturday to Tuesday, then right into the Charles Schwab #schwabimpact Conference.An incredible week meeting with peers in the RIA space, business partners (Wealth.com, Holistiplan, Addepar, eMoney Advisor, Canoe Intelligence and many more), asset managers (Lazard Asset Management, , Northern Trust Corporation,Blackstone,VanEck, , Flat Rock Global, LLC, PGIM, and many more), and everything in between.Let's not forget the Cheesesteaks!Continued learning is the goal for these conferences and I can confidently say I walked away with a ton of new information.I thought a lot about my favorite session or conversation and here is my thought.Adam Grant was a clear favorite. Whether it was "the narcissist test" or the psychology behind asking someone about stealing from their employer, it was fascinating to better understand how our brains works.The best part, "mark your small wins." We all wait around to celebrate the major events in our lives but we never pat ourselves on the back for the wins that are looked at as building blocks on the way to that big win.Change that!#schwabimpact #financialplanning #markets #business #Sunpointeinvestments
