Attention Eorzeans! Yet another one-of-a-kind event has started for Final Fantasy XIV players in the form of a limited-time collaboration with Mountain Dew. How to get the Mountain Zu mount & other items in the FFXIV Mountain Dew Collab Event
In celebration of Dawntrail, Final Fantasy XIV has teamed up with Mountain Dew to offer players a chance to get special in-game items, including a mount called the "Mountain Zu" (yes, it's perfect). To participate, Warriors of Light will need to head to their local grocery or convenience store and purchase qualifying flavors of Mountain Dew. Make sure to buy bottles, not cans.
Once you have them, unscrew the cap and look for a special code on the inside of it. This is the code that you can then redeem on the Mog Station website to receive a certain amount of points toward any of the many rewards being offered. The minimum amount of points you can get is 100 per bottle, while the maximum is 200 points per bottle.
You're free to accumulate as many points as you want while the event is going on, and you'll want to if you have your eye on some of the special merchandise rewards, which cost thousands of points.

Please note that the Mountain Zu/Sparkling Citrus Refreshment item codes cannot be redeemed on Mog Station until Dawntrail early access. Attempting to redeem before then will display an "invalid code" error. https://t.co/GYGvNT6cWA
Before you go trying to redeem your codes, however, be aware that the FFXIV team has reported via X (formerly Twitter) that all codes obtained from bottles of Mountain Dew cannot actually be redeemed for rewards until June 28 at the earliest, which is the first day of Dawntrail Early Access. So you'll need to hold on to your bottle caps until then.
The event runs well into the release of Dawntrail until July 14.
